Gears gone bad?
i have a set of 3.42 gears. they are used. they have been sitting around for a while and have a little bit of rust on them. i have been sprayingthem with wd40 from time to time
they should still be usable right?

They should be fine unless were talking gears pulled up from the bottem of the ocean after 40 years type of rust.
Use some brillio or a wire brush on them and see if they clean up a bit.
