Who makes a good 700r4 , i need one .

I just had my 700r4 rebulit. Wait i had a rebuilt one put in b/c i fried the stock one. Well i havent driven more than 500 miles on this rebult one from the shop and its now slipping the 3 or 4 like the other one did. In the case that i cant have the shop fix it or whatever. Who makes a good one i could buy. I see a bunch of brands on ebay . I think 5 or 6 different ones. I want something with a shift kit. It has to have a stall. around 1800 , lockup converter, it has to shift around 5300-5500 rpms, has to have a wot 3-4 shift. And has to be able to downshift properly . This one i got "rebulit" sucks . It doesnt upshift 2-3 or 3-4 wot. you have to let off. Im just pissed , i was having a good day , i had my rear window tinted 5% in 1 piece , and on the way home it starts like disengaging . SO im pissed. I need some help. Thanks jeff.

Stay away from the local tranny shops, they are clueless.

Try the back of the gm high-tech magazine for some places to call, and do a search, you will find plenty of options.

I bought mine from a guy named Jim Flood in Zeigler, Illinois. He sells 700r4's on ebay. He is a friend of my best friend and bought it from him locally. I paid $600 for mine with an 1800 corvette stall. If you are interested I can give you his #. You would have to pay for shipping, but for like $600! I still can't believe he charges as little as that for what I got. Two days after I put it in I drove it 900 miles with no problems. I'll post an itemized list of what it has tomorrow.
