3spd tranny and 4.10 gears...

IM getting new gears soon and cant figure out if i want 3.73s or 4.10s. My car is going to be a daily and a track car. I know 4.10s will kill gas but give me more power than 3.73s. So is anyone around here running a 3spd Auto and 4.10s? Can ya give me some help and clarification on this?3.73s or 4.10s?

well, you got a few options. You can get 3.73s and stay with the same size tire, or go with the 4.10s and get a taller tire. I have 4.10s and a 700r4 and stock height tires. I think when im in 1:1 which is third, im runnin around 4000 at 55. ITs way too high for a daily driver if you pan to go on the highway or on long drives. It really depends on how much racing you want to do . I say go with the 4.10 and get some taller tires too.

I have 3.73's and an A4 and when I am in third, I am at 3000-3500 at around 55mph.
Not sure the exact speed since my speedo is reading high due to the gear swap.
Need to get that fixed since I am racking up excess miles on the odometer.
