auto to manual swap

has anyone ever done an auto to manual transmission swap on an iroc. my friend just bought an 88 iroc but wants a manual transmission. info on parts, difficulty, etc. would be much appreciated. thanks.

Definitely

You'll find info on T5 swaps, T56 (6-speed) swaps, Tremec TKO swaps, and Lingenfelter only knows what else.

Its pretty easy to do and way worth it IMO, it probably took me about 10 hours of actual work. It took me a month but I had another car to drive and I drank a significant amount of brew each day I worked on it
