shift points!

ever since i have switched out the stock q-jet to a edelbrock and summite HEI distributer my auto automatically shifts at 3500rpm even at full throttle how can i adjust the shiftpoints to maybe like 5000rpm at full throttle so that way i can leave it in Drive when i race instead of having to shift it my self

Check the TV cable adjustment first. (Which despite the name, isn't really an "adjustment", it's more of The Way It Must Be). If everything is ok then you'll have to play with the weights and springs in the transmission governor.

If you set it according to the article, then it is adjusted properly.
