400ci flywheel question
I'm building a 400 and I need to know if they make a flywheel that will fit my Bellhousing and clutch? My current setup is a 1-peice rear main 153 tooth for my 383. I can have the rotating assemble balanced so I dont need a externally balanced flywheel. I have a 89TA T5. Do I need to buy a different clutch to fit the new flywheel?

Yes "they" make one. Several mfrs I believe do. Centerforce does I know for sure. Their part # 700102
Or, you can do what I did when I had a 400 in my car; which was simply to take a stock 83-85 305 F-body flywheel (I used the lightweight L69 one) and have it "unbalanced" to the stock 400 balance spec.
