t5 down shift problems

Car: 1989 FIREBIRD FORMULA WS6
Engine: TPI 305
Transmission: T-5
t5 down shift problems
I hav an 89 firebird formula ws6, with a 5spd. I think it is a t5, any way the tranny will not down shift into 3rd gear from 4th gear. I can up shift through gears 1-5. Any one have an idea as to what is going on. I think the synchro may be bad. Any help would be great.
