OK How did I bend my rear axle??!!
My 84 Aero had always been a smooth ride, the last couple years I've noticed a vibration in the rear, traced it down by process of elimination to the left rear axle...
I have not run over anything or ditched the car...or hit a curb.
The car is a summer driver and I originally thought I had "square tires". Jacked it up and put in gear, and the left rear wheel was moving... Rotated all the tires... the left rear wheel is moving... got new wheels and tires... the left rear is moving
It's bad enough that I don't get the enjoyment I used to by driving the car long distances.
I would be really suspect of this just happening out of the blue, But my first car had the same problem, and changed out the axle shaft and cured it. (maybe since I've moved on to better vehicles for my everyday drivers, I am just now noticing??)
Help

Nope, just me...
I talked to one of our mechs the other day and he said possibly, torque to the rear wheels "can" cause this over time.

No.
It's been curbed. Whether the thought of admitting the possibility is pleasant or not, that's the most likely cause.
