A T-56 stock rubber transmission mount anymore. Yes I know its better to go poly, but my car is too damn stiff as it is. I went to autozone and to my surprise the company "Anchor" makes a stock rubber transmission mount for the T-56 for $7.99. Im not sure but doesnt the T-56 uses the T-5 Transmission mount. Just some FYI because my brother in law ended up spending $115 at the dealer once to replace his tranny mount.

I bought one of those cheap tranny mounts for my T5 from Autzone. It was really soft. Installed it, drove down the street and hit it one time and it broke, basically tore in half. Went with an ES poly one and that worked great.

Didn't know you needed to in the first place. An olde friend of mine got an Autozone mount for his 95 TransAm and just replaced it when it breaks. (lifetime warranty )

I've heard a few references to the poly mounts loosening up and becoming less noisy over time. I'm gonna have to try a new one in my 87 which has had an ES poly mount 6+ years, just for fun.

When you get tired of replacing the rubber mount once or more a month, you'll buy the poly

I broke a few rubber ones with my 2.8 V6, they're a joke.

Actually, mine hasn't broken under a lot of hard launches, I was gonna re-do the crossmember bolts and picked it up because it was 7.99 just incase. I have yet to break a stock mount.
