Build up T5 or do a T56 swap
Hi every1
I just purchased a 92 RS with the 305 TBI engine with the manual 5 speed trans (I believe its the T5 I have).
Thinking about puting in a 350 thats gona boost the HP and torque to a greater number then I'm getting now.
Here's whats holding me up!!!!
What do I do with the T5 trans.I hear it can only hold about 305lb of torque.Is there a way to build up the T5 or is a T56 the only answer and is it gona be difficult to covert over?

You can have you T-5 rebuilt with a G-Force kit http://www.g-forcetransmissions.com/
or get a used T-56 out of a 4th Gen.
Tho you have a World Class transmission, it just last for a while
as long as you dont powershift and do clutch drops.
