Code 24 VSS Need Help

A couple months ago my SES light started coming on and I pulled the code and got 24. What am I supposed to do to fix the VSS?? I dont even know where it is or what you can do to fix it. My haynes manual says nothing about where it is, it just says to check the connections.

Anyone have any info for me??

Look at the tail end of your transmission on the drivers side. If it looks like the ones in a manual, then it is a short cylinder looking device with a two wire plug in it. As for testing it goes, I dunno...I am sure there is a test procedure, I just haven't had to do that one yet...

Trickster, i have to ask you if you don't mind, what/where are your diagrams from? over all they are so much cleaner & easier to read than mine are, even what i use at work. so, if you don't
mind giving an answer, you can answer in a pm.

Wow I suck at wiring diagrams. Is there anyway to find out where exact the grounds are for the vss so I can check them or do I have to go through this whole process?
