Front Pump Rotor Breakage
I'm wondering what would be the cause of front pump rotor breakage.
In my own case I was climbing a steep grade in first, at about 3500 rpm. When I reached the top of the grade, I upshifted then went a couple hundred yards further.
There was a very light snap and then all power to the wheels was lost.
The guy at the shop that did the repair told me that he has no way of knowing what the cause of the breakage was, sometimes they just break.
It seems like there must be a reason tho.
Any ideas?
Thanks
