my rear end differential is making bad noises around 2500 rpm and my shop guy says i should get it rebuilt. im tired of it being in the shop, so how much would it be for a new rear differential/rebuilt used one. how hard is it too swap out differentials, any help would be greatly appreciated, i need my camaro, and im tired of paying for other people to work on it.

Buy an LS1 rear-end. You will get a more aggressive stance (tires a bit "out"), newer components, huge 12" disc brakes, and posi. 3.42 gears if out of a manual car..
