i have a 89gta with a 700r4. the problim is all the sudden the tranny started acting up. when accelerating it goes fine as soon as i reach cruising speed and then try to accelerate it acts like its in nuetral untill it slows back down to 30 again. i dont get it. if its manualy shifted it will work good in 1 and 2. what gives?

 

check your fluid level..detent cable adjustment..


also might just be time for a rebuild.
