I was wondering if anyone can tell me if a rearend out of a transam not sure of year but 82 - 92 with ws6 package & rear disc brakes would fit in a 92 rs, stock was 305 if so is there any special parts I would need. Thanks Dave

The rearend would fit physically in the car but Im not sure what you would need to convert the stock drum brakes rear end in the camaro to the disk brakes on the new rear end, you would probably need a few parts that would usually be needed to do a drum to disk conversion, but on the other hand, you probably have most of the parts on the ws6 rearend anyway, so if you would need to get any additional parts it shouldnt cost that much $

Itll all bolt right in if you have the brake lines that came with the rear. The proportioning valve may be different. I didnt really find it to be too much of an issue although it and the smaller master cylinder that I have limits the braking force that can be generated.
