makin sure

I have heard that a 4th gen drive shaft will hit a 3rd gen

i have a 305 with a t5 28 spine will it fit???

and is it lighter weight?

You want to look for an LS1 aluminum shaft from a 3.42 or 3.23 rear end car. You can use an LT1 shaft but they are steel and junk just like your stocker.
