? Ebay 700R4s

I was looking at the Monster MotorSports tranny with converter and shiped for $875 claimed to handle 650HP or a MadDog 700R4 performance tranny with free shipping and again free converter.

Had any one ever heard of these companies before and maybe some experience with them? Ive looked at Monster before at www.EatMyShift.com

What do u guys think, i need a tranny soon for my v-8 conversion (Carbed) but i need overdrive to get decent MPG on the highway.

this is the company i got mine from, shipping was cool one big ole rubbermaid container packed real tight. tc came a few days later. i went with this company since they included the tc and tv cable. it does take em a while to build the trans but it is built to what you need it for i paid 800 on mine this one is a little diffrent but check they other auctions he has. he can make anything his feed back is real good with the exception of shipping time he never seems to make the dates he lists but the trans is nice and complete. i can;t tell you for how well it holds up since its only been in a couple weeks and i have no tires yet.

HEy maxi mitchell maddog blows, my car has been in thesh. op for a week now, 2 trannies and 2 pieces of junk. Both broke, never even got them running from the start. Pain in the *** berly could even get a refund. Big mistake to do buisness with. Certifed took the pan off both tranies after installation and found gobs of metal and clutch material. Torque converters from maddog are junk allso. Do not buy they are complete rip off artists. LOu sr and jr and a tag team of scam artists.

I bought a used supposed low milage tranny off ebay. It lasted a year...but it was sluggish since I got it.

I just ordered a TCI street fighter th350. Hopefully it serves me well.

Im planning on pulling a 700 from a low milage Totaled car 87+ The tail shafts are all universal right?, if not ill get one out of an Fbody. Salvage yard garantees them for 30days, and its only $250 minus converter, and only $135 with a core, that should atleast let me get this new engine broken in, then ill have a performance rebuild done on it.

Hey MAx, How bout this? I have 2 trannies from maddog, So why dont I give you one with a torque converter for like a hundred bucks? then you can get it built or whatever. May just need some minor reparis but its still broke so yeah. Give me a call 913-5261392. OR you could call mustangs plus and get one they have a couple over there for like 300 bucks that they pulled out of running camaros. What Im doing now, is I had certified take one of those maddog trannies up to their Rebuild plant, and there going to strip it clean and put nice shiat in there and put it back in my car for like 1100 bucks or something, but thats the cheapest your gonna find if you want a decent tranny. Dont go the cheappy way like I tried to, Cause even if it does work it wont be for long and then youll be installing another. Save ur pennies and buy urself a streetfighter tranny or let a shop like certified build you one because they will warranty not only the transmission itself but also there work.

Just my 2 cents dimebag
