Weird Problem PLEASE HELP

Weird Problem PLEASE HELP

Alright my car is 85 with 350 with a t5 it hasent ran on the road since i got it and needs some work but i was moving it the other day and when i was letting out the clutch i heard (very hard to describe but) like the transmissino just slapped the floorpan. It was a loud thunk now its done it a few times now when i move it. doesnt sound healthy at all i looked and havetn noticed anything out of the ordinary. and this happened just out of no where one day. Any advice is greatly appreciated. i woulda used the seach button but i was not sure of what this could be. thanks in advanced

check the trans mount and the torque arm mount to see if theyre crumbly or ripped

Axle/Gears: 3.42 open/2.73 open/ 3.27 9 bolt
I've had this twice, both times the trans mount was ripped in half across the rubber and you couldn't tell by looking. After jacking up the car, all you usually have to do is push up with both hands on the tail of the tranny where the drive shaft goes in and then it will all make sense. Once on my 90 auto and once on my 87 5 speed.

Yep. Trans mount. Same thing happened to me.
