in need of clutch
Im kind of in a struggle for cash (due to recent car accident) , and my clutch is starting to slip when I get on the throttle real hard, what would be the best way to handle this problem in my situation? what would be the cheapest clutch, that is worth putting in my car? Also, I have never changed a clutch before, and I know it is very involved. I have friends that have done it that could be of help. Would I be better off crawling under and doing it in my garage, or taking it to the shop? Any input is greatly appreciated.

also that was for the whole kit including clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing it will prolly be alot chaeper for just a clutch

It harder with an 8 but I drove 6-8 months with a "bad" clutch. I just had to float it to move at a reasonable speed. also if it does slip while moving, ya gotta lift n get back in it like a drag racer slipping the tires.
It just take prastic.
