i have a 87-92 700r4 in the vehicle right now but i dont know if the guy messed anything up majorly because the tranny ended up blowing on me..... i still have the stock transmission and was looking at the B&M website and they said that they make a kit that makes it so it "upgrades" the transmission to overcome the problems that they had......have any of you guys tried this kit??

any input at alL? do you think it sounds like a good idea or should i just chance it with my tranny i have now and if i have to buy a new core if worse comes to worse.......btw incase you are wondering what the kits come with they are at..... http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id...t=19&subcat=24

 

I had my trans rebuilt with that kit. First thing the trans shop said when I checked on their progress (they were behind) was that the kit had them replacing things they had never done before (good). One thing the kit doesn't contain is sprags, you'll need 2. My trans has been just fine with that kit in it, I love the way it shifts now and it just feels more solid than it ever did.
