tranny #'s help ?
I have found a 5 speed transmission from a f**d and would like to know if it can be used in my 82 z/28. I found a tag with a
sequence of numbers they are as follows.
E7SR-7003-AA REP-AM
13-52-155 17234 B2073
I can pick this transmission up for 50 dollars, is it worth it?
thanks for any input

no. input shafts are different. the 5 speeds that are in our f-bodies sit at a 15 or 18 degree angle the fords are level if i remeber right. i am sure there are lots of other differences. i sure some one else can tell you the rest.
