I have the hole doner car parked next door and this will be a freebe all I will have invested is my laber. but know nothing about these rearends and would like some advice I don't want to swap and find out this is a week rearend or hase problems. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me

Go for it. The 9-bolt is a lot stronger than the current axle. Unfortunately, the parts for that 9-bolt are a little pricey.

DynoDon is holding a 9-bolt for me. As soon as I get some money together, my 10-bolt is history.

I wish I could find a Dana 44.

As a noob, you may want to become familiar with the search function. This particular issue has come up before, so there is a lot of information available.

The great thing, all of that information will help you convert from drums to discs (it includes part numbers). Good luck.

You don't need to swap the master cylinder, they're not any different. Just get the prop. valve (the piece under the master cyl. with the lines going to it) and swap that out. You may even be fine with your stock prop. valve.
