Well I recently purchased an aftermarket trans cooler and I mounted it to the back of the radiator using the rubber mounts and zip tie type things supplied in the kit and now I am noticing that my car is overheating. I am wondering if the transcooler is blocking my rad from getting air now. Although I know many people who have mounted theres in this spot with out problems my question how far away from the stock fan can I mount my trans cooler and still get the proper cooling. Because I am thinking about fabbing some brackets to mount it about 3'' away from the radiator so that the radiator can get a little more air. thanks for the help guys.
