T-5 grinding in reverse

Is there any other refill places than this plug as shown in the pic?

Had it open and it was filled to the top. It just doesn't seem like it's very high up on the tranmission house.

And how often shold you change the fluid?

The reason I ask is that I've been having some trouble with the reverse gear. Even if I put in another gear first it still makes a grinding noise and have to use a little force also.

Could this be something that is relatively easy to fix?

There are no sychro's on reverse gear. You might try double clutching it before putting it in reverse.

WELL, the quick fix(not doing more damage to the tranny), is to put into 5th first, and then slide back to reverse. I had this happen for about 6 months before i just rebuilt the whole thing (soft parts).
Also I later found out my throw-out bearing was aligned wrong on the fork. There is a great pic/example by either EDE or RB83L69.
