Torque converter from 305 TBI behind a L98???
When I did my motor swap, 305 TBI to L98 TPI, I reused the old torque converter and trans. Could the 305 converter be hurting my performance? Or are they about the same? The 305 is from a 89 rs and the L98 is from a 92 Z28.
Thanks for your input.

unless the torque converter is f***ed up you shouldn't have too many problems. in the factory service manual it says that the trannys are basicaly the same. and the stall is the same but i would upgrade the stall anyway even if it is only by like 400-500 you will notice and love the difference. try going to http://www.bulkpart.com/ the prices are pretty good.

I plan on going to a 3000 stall anyway!
