this kit is for a 700-R4 for a 1990 Camaro, i dont understand how i can hold third gear or downshift to any gear at anyspeed with an automatic transmission. can someone help explain this to me. Im not the best with transmissions.

Its easy. Slam the shifter all the way down in 1st, then just move the shifter up into each gear as you go along 2, D (3rd), OD (4th)
