Which way goes towards the flywheel? The piece that has the spring and protrudes outward a little or the flat side? I have a spec stage 3 disk and it doesn't state which is flywheel side, that or its dirty as hell from the dust. Thanks.

Look at the disc.
Yes, springs are visible from both sides. But there's more to it than that.
You may notice upon really close, careful and thorough inspection that they are located entirely to one side of the disc, which side also happens to have the hub on top of it. Therefore they are not "on both sides". They are completely off to one side.
That's the side that goes away from the flywheel, toward the clutch.

Crucial point here: he has an LT1 T56. The side that protrudes goes toward the flywheel on a pull-style clutch.
FWIW I loved my SPEC stage 3. It lasted about 5 years and 60k or so miles, and grabbed like a teenager on a hot date. I went to a stage 2 when it wore out, since I'm keeping it N/A and she rarely sees the track.
