Big problem, every since i can remember my car would slip when shifting between every gear. Most noteably between 1-2 and 2-3 supposedly its the clutches inside worn out so i've been told. Could it possibly be the governor?? doubt it but, i don't have very much knowledge when it comes to trannys. Also today i think the tranny is finally quiting. I was pulling out of a local drive normally, noticed it shifted "normal/slipped into 1-2 but the shift into 2-3 didn't happen and it definetly would not shift into OD. I'm definetly stumped my guess would be the clutches worn out but any feed back ASAP would be greatly appreicated this is my daily driver and i don't want to get ripped off by some transmission place.

 

Sounds like the trans is worn out. You could try readjusting the TV cable for max tension at WOT just for yucks. But, from the sound of it the trans needs to be freshened up.
