Tranny SPeedo Gear question
I have updated my gauges and ended up going from the stock cluster (90-91) to a autometer gauges with a mechanical speedo (don't worry, it's been carbed and NO computer whatsoever.

I have a cable and housing on the way, but I forgot the gear. Will the VSS drivEN gear from the VSS mount fit the cable "bullet" mount? If not, does anyone have an extra 37-tooth (red) drivEN gear for a cable speedo?
Thanks!
Tom

The VSS gear has a D shaped hole.
The cable driven gear has a spindle shaft.
Different.

Dammit! Oh well. I received my cable today...I thought I bought the housing with it, but I didn't. Gotta make a run to town anyways, so I might as well pick 'em both us at the same time. Thanks anyway!!!
