T-5 problems!!!!!!!

i have a 89 firebird 2.8L that i installed a new clutch, and rear main seal in last summer. t/o bearing was making a wobble type noise. and rear main was leaking after takeing everything apart found no pilot bearing except for a few pilot bearing crumbs. here is the part were i show inexperience and alot of stupidity
the input shaft had a lot of play in it but i reinstalled the trans after putting in the new clutch. and it lasted 2 weeks.
I was shifting to 3rd gear and pop!!! it then became very hard to shift up unless you did it very slow and will not down shift to 1st 2nd or 3rd if you are still moving. but the clutch still feels great
the car has been sitting since. i should have known better it is sad for me to say i have been working in car dealers since 92 in the parts and now service department for the last year.
now i have not done a lot of major work myself but i did install the clutch i am a parts replacer not a tech to make a short story long should i just find a reman and have it put in or try to get it rebuilt. please be nice to me i just learned the hard way what excessive input shaft bearing play does to a trans with a new clutch.any help will be appreciated.
