first post rookie needs help axle code

Hello-This is my first post. Let me know how I can get the information on my 83 trans am axle code
5PH C173 2 is stamped on my axle tube. I have rear disc brakes. Any help would be great.

Also the plate on the radiator support has these numbers on it
D06D 2FS87 L 230433
22C 27 L 27 J W
AR9
D NS 27457

Anyone know what this is all about?

you can find info in your manual, think there is a decoder here. if you really want to know what you have and not what it had pull the cover and look.

For Clarification-I would like some help on figuring out my axle code which I listed.

I also listed what is printed on the tag that is on the radiator support and request any help with that information.

ede- I don't know the manual your are speaking of. My Haynes manual has some codes but does not have mine listed.
Thanks

It has the 305 4 barrel. I don't know much else about it. I didn't get any paperwork and it has no decals on it.
The stamping on the axle tube is not really clear except for the 5

Thanks for your help.

Thanks folks-I thought it might be a 3.23 and was sure it wasn't a posi from the rotation when I jacked it up. I have disc brakes. Unless I can find a better rear end cheap I will probably live with the 3.23. I would like to put in a no slip though. Anyone ever do that? I need to open it up for seals anyway.
