Auto-->Manual... need shifter plate
I originally had an auto and swapped in a t-56. I had cut the console before when I had the auto because I had an B&M shifter which came with a plate I screwed onto the console. Now I have a big hole in my console. I bought a shifter boot from Hawks but its not big enough to fit the hole. Should I just fab something up myself or is there some sort of shifter plate that I can buy?

The factory shifter plate for a 5-speed car fits nicely....and you can get a piece that covers the T-5 gate pattern with a T-56 gate pattern. I can't remember the guy's name, though....
