going from t5 to t56 hydraulics question
can I reuse the resovoir and master cyl? i removed the assembly and find that the master cyl looks exactly the same.

I have no clue whether that's possible.
But I will tell you, it makes no sense whatsoever to do that; unless you happen to have a near brand-new MC and SC both. As cheap as the entire assembly is at GM, pre-bled and ready to slap on, I can't see why anybody would do anything else.
The new one I installed in my car hooked up to my 3rd gen pedals just fine.
