Will I make it?

Im just finishing up my manual to auto tranny swap. It's a TH350 with a 2800 stall speed with 4.10's out back. My RPM range is somewhere around 2000-7000rpms. Will I make it all the way down the track? Seems like I might be running out of gear or rpms.

Just run some 33" mudders on the back and you'll be fine

Has anyone actually ran this or close to this combo?

Your 350 trans has a first gear ratio of 2.52, and it will tolerate steeper gear sets. If it was a 700R4, with its 3.06 ratio, even 3.73s would be a bit steep. too much rear gear, and too much 1st trans gear, will give you an almost useless launch ratio. Thats why you always hear of the LS1 guys going with steep gears, because the 4L80E has a 2.43 ratio. BTW, what else is in your engine, as far as camshaft, and C/R ratio goes? IMO, a great move going from a stick to an auto.
