My problem is that my clutch chatters alot when i try to take off in first from a stop, my throw out bearing makes alot of noise and so does my tranny for that matter and i can shift my car into any gear i want without pressing the clutch when its turned off, sometimes it wont let me shift into 2nd or 3rd at WOT even if i take my foot off the gas pedal and the rpm jumps up and down like crazy too, and it burns a quart of clutch fluid on a weekly basis.......so any advice?

I have a 92 Z28 TPI 5 speed with a center force clutch currently installed

and no i dont go around doing this so thats not the prob

 

the shift into any gear while engine off is commen. My camaro does this, my s10, and several other cars I have seen.

1. Oil on plate
2. bad mounts
3. worn splines on clutch plate
4. warped plate or flywheel (can happen by not having evenly tightened).

Loosing clutch fluid Transmission fluid, or hydro ram fluid?

throw out bearing could be installed wrong, or just bad from get-go.

if you have ran the trans low on fluid alot, odds are you damaged a bearing or gear and its going to make some noise.

 

hydro fluid and my trans is never been run without fluid so i dont know why it would be howling like a pack of wolves
