T-5 from v6 into 350

I am doing a transmission/engine swap on my 85 tpi automatic. Bought a 350 crate motor from GM, and am using the bellhousing out of my '91 parts car (v8 T5 with bad trans) Can I use a v6 T5? I know the input shafts are different, but I can probably switch them out. I was wondering if they are different gear ratios?

No you can't just change out the input shaft. The gear ratio's are different in a bad way. First gear is 4.03:1 and second is 2.34:1. Too much of a jump. Save yourself some headache and get a V-8 T-5.
