Bolts in perfectly if I remember correctly. Except it is about 4" wider overall.

So each wheel will stick out almost an extra 2" over the 3rd gen rearend

you need to alter the brake lines i think for different fittings???

Since the rear is wider you have to use 4th gen wheels, everything else is a complete bolt in.

The aren't any stronger than any other 10 bolt. An X amount of power doesn't kill them, rather abuse will do the deed instead. You will need to modify your E-brake as well as possibly stretch your fuel lines. Your stock wheels will stick out about 2" farther on each side. You would want to conisder running 4th gen or vette wheels. This will require you however to use spacers up front. A few searches will bring up 4897538495835 threads devoted to this swap.

So that they can run 4th gen wheels with only a pair of spacers for the front and get better brakes and gear ratios for cheap.

so one 4th gen rear is as good as another? say a 93 rear would be the same strength as an 02 rear, assuming they had the same amount of wear and tear on them? (disregarding the one is now 12 years old)
