Car doesnt shift into OD(4rth gear)

Car: 1986 Iroc Z

Engine: Truck 305 /Bored .30 Flat Pistons/ Crane Cam

Transmission: Corvette 700R4

Car doesnt shift into OD(4rth gear)

My mechanic and I tried everything... adjusting the cable under the hood and the cable under the car and still no OD....

I am assuming this is the tranny that is bad but I have no clue if its fixable on my own or what to do...

I am recieving code 36 for the transmission
