now that i know what my other rear end is, what im I gaining in puttin 3.23's? Will it be better than my stock 2.77's? Both of them are posi-limited slip

Well 2.77's are 9 bolt ratio and 3.23 are 10 bolt ratio. What you want is to either have 2.73 and go to 3.23 or 2.77 and go to 3.27.
For acceleration the 3.23 would be better in most third gens, however 3.42 would probably be best although the posi condition does play a huge factor.
But if you were looking at strength compared to the 2.77 and the 3.23, the 2.77 will be stronger just for the simple fact that it is a 9 bolt.

Yeah, but my 9 bolt is shot, and when i try to launch one tires spins but the other one just stays there, and it makes a whinning noise when accelerating, the only disadvantage of the 10 bolt that i got is that its drum brakes

Those PBR brakes are nice too and the 10 bolt being weaker is another setback.

Maybe 2 tenths depending on how fast you are now and condition of posi and traction. 2.77 to 3.23 isn't that large of a jump. 3.42 between 3 and 4 teeths.

but i thought I couldnt put no more than 3.08's on a BW rear end? and the 10 bolt seems in good shape, no leaks, i move the drum and they move at the same time. But on the 10 bolt cant i replace the gears and go 3.42's?

You can replace the gears on either, you just have to have matching gears and carrier in the same series. Such as 3.45 gears in the 9 bolt.

Yeah i tired getting gears for my 9 bolt but this is what they told me at thunderracing.com
"If you have a 2.77 gear then you should have a 9 bolt. If it is a 10 bolt cover, then the gear would be a 2.73. For the 10 bolts a 3.42 would be the gear of choice. Unforunately we don't offer any gears for the 9 bolt rears.
Thanks,
David Tuschhoff"
