e-brake cables for a 3rd gen with 4th gen rearend...

Messed up the topic heading so everyone was probably looking at it like I was crazy. Anyway,I posted a topic about swapping a rearend from a 4th to a 3rd gen. Unfortunetally, I didn't think about mentioning that I have drum brakes in the rear. I looked at a previous post and it mentioned that the brake cables would not work if out of an LT1, which is true(found out first hand). I called GM and they said two styles are made but one is discontinued. The difference is in length but I'm not sure which one is correct. They measured in mimimeters and only vary about 20mm from each other. I'd buy the one they have except its $35 with is a lot to pay for a non-returnable item if it doesn't work. Any help would be great!!
