no bleeder fitting on my clutch--Help

I have a t5 tranny in my 86 bird and it has the origional master/slave assembly. I would like to drill out the restrictor in the line by the emaster cyl. but i can't find any instr. on bleeding it without a bleeder screw. Good luck with this one.

Well if its out of the car kind of hold it up like how it would sit in the car but point the slave in a 45* down and have someone start pumping in its full range of motion slowly untell it's nice and firm.

They used a new master cyl. but that is the restrictor inline o keep the fluid from moving quickly like it should. A stupid idea from GM.

restrictor

Yep, GM incorportated the restrictor in the clutch line, I know of in the 4th gen cars anyway, in order to soften the clutch engagement for drivers that like to pop the clutch. I believe GM did this to crutch a weak drivetrain to keep the parts breakage down. GM knows the 7.5 rears are weak and a decent V-8 with a stick will scatter it in short order, it was cheaper for GM to soften the clutch engagement with a restriction in the line than it would be to fix the real problem and put a decent rearend in these cars Larry.

just to add

Just for the heck of it, here is another tid bit of useless knowledge I have, I also know in the 4th gen cars with the automatics, GM incorporated something in the tuning to pull timing out everytime the auto upshifts to another gear at full throttle, again to soften the load on the drivetrain and keep warranty claims down. GM is really scared of those 7.5's coming back to haunt them Larry.
