Today I was going back home from work, after about 7 mins of driving I hit the intersection and red lights with traffic ahead, so I Shift it into Neutral to save up on brakes. As I do that I tend to ease off the brakes and find out that I almost ate half the rear off that Civic that was waiting for the green light ahead of me.

THE PROMLEM clearly is that I have no neutral, WHICHEVER gear I select It's always on OD. WTF?

So I went all the way home thinking that If I turn ignition off I will not be able to start it again (did it before), and No it starts fine on Od or d, i don't really know what gear it's in, must be OD. And the Gear selector moves freely up and down like a hot knife on butter.

I tried to wiggle with the TV cable and all to no avail. It still starts and is ready to break a wall in my garage as I start it, scary. Need help.

**Just bought the car, from start it was running rough. It felt that it was under some heavy load like hauling a trailer behind ONLY when at half throttle. As I would let off to about 10-15 % throttle it would start accelerating firmly and with no "overload" feel to it. To get to WOT it would hesitate when passing 40-70% throttle and then kinda slowly accelerate. It felt as though it would never get past 3000 RPM at 50% throttle...... It would actually level out or even on a steep grade hill will drop rpms while I would be increasing throttle application.... ** Help me out

 

You can do it yourself easily enough. If you do a search or check any repair manual you'll find the procedure.
