Possibly switching to manual...found this on eBay
I've heard that it's much easier to go to a yard and strip a car that is stick in order to get all the parts for a manual swap rather than trying to piece it together. I found this on eBay though and was wondering if you guys think this would actually be worth bidding on. Looks like it's everything but the trans itself. Would I be paying that much to piece it together or to go to a yard and strip all that off? Thanks.

Around here pedals fetch $50, flywheel $50, hydraulics $35-$50, interior stuff maybe $20 for all of it. If the flywheel cna be used on your engine I'd say go for it. You just buy it and get it shipped. No crawling around wrecking yards gettign dirty.

The flywheel is not correct. That is a flywheel for a T56. It won't work for a T5, and that bellhouseing wouldn't work for a T56. I also think it's too much money....even IF the flywheel were correct.

EDIT. Maybe it is a proper flywheel. Hard to tell from the pic, but it looks a lot like a T56 unit to me.
