Squelling From Rearend
i have a fully rebuilt 10 bolt, eaton limited slip unit and 3.73's....i'm not sure if this is normal or not, but i figured i'd find out before i hurt something...when i'm driving in a straight line, and turn slightly and kinda go back and forth, i can hear a slight squeel coming from the rearend, i hear it once in a while in town too....is this normal, or is this something I should be concerned about?

Try gently applying the brakes whilst driving and see if the squeal goes away. It could just be the shoes/pads.

yea it only does it on slight turning, i'm thinking it might be that its borderline of engaging and disengaging....becase when i make a full turn, it won't make any noise, i think it just bumps in and out of posi when i slightly turn... i just wanted to make sure it was normal...it could be coming from exhaust too maybe, because i have duals dumped underneath and the mufflers are tucked up tight against the flowboards...so that might be squeaking a little...who knows...atleast its not a grind, that'd be bad..
