Stock converter or not?

I've been going over my new, and first 3rd gen, checking everything out and what not. I noticed someone has added a tranny cooler, cool stuff. And i was wondering on the stall speed of my converter. Power braking it, i can get 2,400 RPM out of it, in the gravel before it starts to drive through the brakes. Thats with a stock(i think) 305 TBI, 92 firebird. SO, is it stock, or not?

I would have to say no...

Sounds like too much of a stall.

Yeah, it kinda surprised me. I wasent even acctually checking the stall speed. I havent been able to drive the car, since it blocked in, but i was datalogging, and wanted to put a load on the engine. Wasent expecting it to go that high, but i guess the added tranny cooler could be a clue that someone may have done something to it.
