Beefing up a 4-spd?
Hey guys,
I have a Super T10 out of an '82 Trans Am I'm going to be putting in the Camaro in the spring. I want to know if theres anything I can do to beef it up, and make it more durable?
I want to know, because my T5 took a SERIOUS turn for the worse after only a few days of flogging at the track, and I want this 4-speed to be able to handle it better than the T5 did.
BTW - Its behind a warmed up 350, something that should be running something between 13.5 and 14.2 once I get it all set up right (Runs between 97 and 99mph at the track, but the T5 keeps me from getting a good launch and 60ft). I'd guess 260hp, 360 ft-lbs?
Any suggestions?
