Help...

Replaced my 2.73 with 3.23 gears. Do i need to replace both driven and drive gears. The m.p.h. seems to be about 10 higher than it should be. Any help would be appreciated.

You want a gray 15 tooth drive gear and a 45 tooth driven gear. Both are available from gm for less than 15 dollars

you could try a ransmission parts place that deals with used parts. they are usually cheaper than the dealer. if you need some places to contact let me know. i don't know of any close to you butthey could be shipped.

Check with jmd on this board. He'll fix you up with what you need. Yes, you'll need to swap both gears.

Find a new dealer. I have never paid more than $18 with the tax for a pair of gm gears. Even list price should not be that high. Ask them to sell at trade price.
