T5 problem
i just installed a t5 for my 4 cyl 82 camaro. the clutch doesnt disengage when the clutch is pressed in. i think it might have somthing to do with the pressure plate being shaped differently, but i dont know how to fix it. any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you have the fly wheel turned .Is this a new clutch kit matching disc and plate . The p-plate should be the same aslong as it is for your aplaction evan if it looks diferante. Is the clutch fork moving freely did you mess with the hydrolic clutch line ?.

No, he doesn't have a hydraulic clutch.
Adjust your clutch linkage rod. You'll need to extend the rod that goes between the clutch fork and Z-bar.
If that doesn't work, you may have put the throwout bearing in the clutch fork the wrong way.....seen that happen before.

alright... i think it has to do with instalation. ive tried extending the rod almost 2 inches, and it feels like there is alot of pressure on teh pedal, but it still wont disengage... i might just have to reinstal it.
