Depends on your definition of good. What do plan to put in front of it? Theres a reason gm never put any t5 behind a stock 350.

yeah 'good' would steer you away from most stuff GM used period.. but hey
if 1352-176 is on the tag thats an 88 WC t5, same thing i just picked up.. at least if it becomes a problem you can rebuild it with some better parts in the future

ye, the TKOperformance guy on this site can hook you up if it breaks with stronger stuff. I've had mine behind a 350 that puts me in the mid 13s on street tires for a few years now. No probs at all. Go check the organized drag racing forum. There's a guy on there running in the 11s on his. And from a video of a pass he made, he is not easy on it. They do ok.

youre the person i was looking for, jimmy_mac. I want to throw in a stick shift, but everyone tells me i need the t56. i have a zz1 350 rated at 350 horses and 385 lbs of torque. everyone is like no it wont work, it will die very shortly afterwards. I believe i should be running low 13s as well, so maybe it would work for me. is yours built up in any way, or is it just a regular wc t5? thanks a lot.
