hey guys i have an 85 camaro with a turbo 350 and a 305 in it. i bought a lokar auto shifter that mounts directly to the tranny. i did that before i knew that the shifter i have now mounts to the floorboards and uses a cable and not steel linkage. soo what im asking is is it worth the aggrivation to cut a hole in my floor and make it work? i bought it at a swap meet so i cant really retun it theres a pic of how it mounts on the lokar site its www.lokar.com i have a conslole and the ebrake is there to so i dont know where the shifter would come up at, if anyone has used one of theses it would be so much help if u responed thanks guys later

I don't think you'll be able to make it work. Probably best to ebay it and get a Megashifter or other cable operated type aftermarket shifter.
